Oh my goodness. This is her as a baby? My, how she's grown. She is quite the empress now as an adult. As for the baby photo, I second Kirstin.
Miss Maya Pavlova is watching Kitty TV out the window: birds and squirrels. She has been there for an hour, with her tail hanging down over a bunch of Anglican-themed books on the little low bookcase which I keep clear on top as a perch for her.
Me, I am going to do some writing while listening to Yo-Yo Ma and Emanuel Ax. I don't have to go into the office till after 2. Yay! (Of course, I have to teach till after 10 p.m. this evening, but never mind.)

Well, she does seem to prefer Bessie Smith; no accounting for some folks' taste. Then again, I sometimes prefer Smith myself.
