I Have Two Adorable Grandsons

Peter, 10 years, holds his little brother Carter, 3 days. Aren't they wonderful? And, no, that's not really a question, so make with the "Ooooos and Ahhhhs" already.

Oooooh, aaaaah! They are adorable! You must be popping your buttons with pride. Carter has his eye on you, you know. I don't think you will fool him easily.

Ooooooo and Ahhhhh, indeed! You are truly blessed. I am sure you know that already, but it can't hurt to hear it from an outside source once and a while.
They are both real cuties!

¡Felicidades, Abuelo!
Great photos and a great smile on Peter's face.

Gracias, Abuelo Mickey! When he was a toddler, they spoke of having him model; he's always been photogenic enough (the smile is very like his mom's and Grandma's--my ex) but I'm glad they didn't.

I did have reasons to qualify Miss Bebe's claim, who is definitely one beautiful Grandchile indeed.

Sweetest picture I've seen in a long time. Enjoy them, Johnie!

(I love when babies are still so little that they have their fists up like that all the time. He's dreaming of soccer and shouting "gooooooooooooaaaallllll!!!!!")

Sweet, sweet, sweet. Beautiful boys, JB. Congrats!

cute kids. And far enough apart in years that most of the usual brother rivalry may not happen.

I think you're right, Dennis; I had a cousin who was comparably older, to whom I was close.

Adorable! Peter looks so happy to have a brother. I'll bet he'll be so good to the little one.

My kids are only 16 months apart, and it's always been a love/hate relationship. Though now that they have some distance and maturity they are quite good to each other.

I'm so thrilled for you!

Love & Light to you and your beautiful family,
Pagan

Great pix. I love Peter's big smile. Immense happiness to them both and to the whole family, with health to enjoy the same!

Peter needs to establish some rules pronto. Sure I'll babysit. At the going rate for babysitters. He's cute but he isn't cute enough for me to do it for free.

The comments about the age difference are so right. My brother was eight years older than I and we were very close. Since he was a prodigy who was away at prep and then university at a very young age, we often kidded that we were both only children. The times he was home were special and we formed an unusually close bond.

Great grandsons, JohnieB!!! That bebe is very relaxed! especially in the first picture. His hands aren't even fists! Looks like he came out in a calm mood. and his big brother is absolutely adorable, but don't tell him. He'd be embarrassed that an old lady like me said that.

Beautiful!!! And sooo sweet.

My brother is nearly ten years older than I and this brings back memories.

That big brother Peter is a charmer -- and so is the beautiful Carter.

I love 'em when they are little like that.

By the way, he is awfully handsome for such a new baby.

Congratulations, Grandpa!

I hurried straight over from PJ's as soon as I saw there were gonna be pictures. You are SO lucky, JohnieB, and I'm kinda envious. They are very handsome young men -- take after their Papa, I have no doubt.

You gonna post more pix soon, right? :)

Peedge,

first, I gotz to go get them, as my chintzy daughter seems to have other things to do but send me all the pictures I want.

Maybe I can post them from there; I'll be there from the 3rd through the 10th of June. Prevuez of Coming Attractions!

Kate,

like all grandparents, I hope to be able to give them some good things, but da looks are all from their Mama--well, OK, Carter does look like his Dad to me, (and that's a good thing)

Oh, Susan S.

the "calm mood" may be, in part, because my daughter did Natural Childbirth (Brave!), so he didn't have any drug residues to cope with.

I'm late to the party, JohnieB---but I wanted to say what lovely boys they are!

And I do not believe for a moment that they get ALL their good looks from elsewhere. I've seen photos, you know... ;-)
